Westlock Minor Hockey would like to welcome the First Shift program taking place at Westlock Rotary Spirit Center
The Canadian Tire First Shift Program starts Tuesday, Oct 16, 2018 with a Welcome Event at 6:30 p.m.
The hockey program for children aged 6-to-10 is designed to ease new-to-hockey families into the game through an expert equipment fitting, 6 on-ice sessions as well as parent education.
Westlock Minor Hockey Association is one of 150 organizations across Canada running the program, creating an environment for kids to try hockey for the first time.
Since 2014, more than 4,800 families have been introduced to hockey as a result of the Canadian Tire First Shift Program.
